For the year ended 31 March 2025 (FY2025), IFT’s total revenue was NZD 3,346.8 million, up 11.7% from NZD 2,995.3 million in FY2024. During the reported period, total operating expenditure increased to NZD 3,454.8 million in FY2025 from NZD 2,879.5 million in FY2024.
The company reported a net loss of NZD 261.3 million in FY2025, compared with a net profit of NZD 761.0 million in the FY2024, mainly due to lower revaluation uplifts compared to the previous corresponding period. Proportionate operational EBITDAF for FY2025 was NZD 986 million.

IFT agreed to acquire TECT Holdings’ 4.92% shareholding in Contact Energy Limited, which will increase its total ownership in CEN to 14.3% upon completion. For FY2025, the company reported a proportionate operational EBITDAF of NZD 986 million, which was near the upper end of its guidance range of NZD 960 million to NZD 1,000 million.
