Duke Energy Powers Up: Q4 EPS Rises, Revenue Beats And 2025 Outlook Holds Firm Duke Energy Corporation (NYSE:DUK) reported a fourth-quarter adjusted EPS of $1.66, up from $1.51 a year ago and in line with the consensus. Revenues of $7.36 billion exceeded the consensus of $7.33 billion. Electric Utilities and Infrastructure's adjusted segment income increased to $1.238 billion from $1.115 billion a year ago. Quarterly results were led by growth from rate increases and riders. On the other hand, the Gas Utilities and Infrastructure segment reported an adjusted segment income of $231 million compared to $192 million in the fourth quarter of 2023. At the end of the year, operating cash flow stood at $12.3 billion, and cash and equivalents stood at $314 million. Lynn Good, Duke Energy chair and chief executive officer, said, "Duke Energy enters 2025 in a position of strength, and I'm excited about the future with Harry Sideris as its next CEO. Under his leadership, Duke Energy is well positioned to execute the next phase of our business strategy." FY25 Outlook Reaffirmed: Duke Energy expects adjusted EPS of $6.17 – $6.42 vs consensus of $6.33. The company extended its long-term adjusted EPS growth rate of 5% to 7% through 2029 off the 2025 midpoint of $6.30. The company noted five-year capital plan increasing to $83 billion to fund new generation and serve growing energy demand.
